Marine Corps Recruit Depot Museum and Historical Society

We are currently working on an Oral History  Project with  the Depot. We are looking for female Marines who served aboard the Depot from 1943 to 1946, who stood up to "Free a Man to Fight." If you or someone know fall into this catagory please let us know.  We would love to get your interview. Contact us at  CA2@womenmarines.org.

The Veterans Village of San Diego has been serving veterans since 1981, providing a safe and healthy place to restart their lives after an ardous duty.  It was no different for the San Diego County Chapter of the WMA when we found ourselves wandering around San Diego looking for  places to meet that would meet the needs of the members.  We found ourselves to be vagabonds from month to month.  That is until Phil, Claudia and the staff at the Veterans Village welcomed us home with open arms as they do for thousands of veterans every single year.

It is our extreme privilege to be a partner to the Veterans Village and we look forward to a life long friendship.
